Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) began operations in December 2002 as the 18th commercial bank to be licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank. It has since grown into one of the largest private commercial banks in Nepal.
The bank's head office is located on Sama Marga, Naxal, Kathmandu, and it operates roughly 196 branches and 226 ATMs across the country, providing full commercial banking and remittance services.
Siddhartha Bank offers loans, credit cards, savings and investment products, and merchant banking through its subsidiary Siddhartha Capital Limited. It is internationally connected through SWIFT code SIDDNPKA and maintains correspondent banking relationships to support cross-border transactions.
The bank is the official title sponsor of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) for a five-year period from 2024 to 2028, and has received multiple industry awards for its performance and contribution to Nepal's banking sector.
