Prabhu Bank Limited was founded in 2001 and is a Class 'A' commercial bank licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, with its head office at Babarmahal, Kathmandu.
The bank has grown through mergers with several financial institutions over the years, including Grand Bank Nepal Limited in 2016, which itself had attained Class 'A' status in 2014. This consolidation has made Prabhu Bank one of the largest commercial banks in Nepal by branch count, with around 300 branches nationwide.
Prabhu Bank offers a full suite of banking services including personal and corporate banking, credit cards, savings and investment products, merchant banking, and extensive remittance services supported by a dedicated overseas department serving customers in India, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The bank maintains correspondent banking relationships with international banks to facilitate trade finance and cross-border transactions.
