NIEC, or Nepal International Educational Consultancy, is an overseas education and test preparation provider with its head office in Putalisadak, Kathmandu, and branches in several other Nepali cities. It handles both sides of an overseas application: coaching for the entrance and English tests, and counselling through admission and visa filing.
Destinations
The consultancy counsels for ten countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany, Japan, China and South Korea. The East Asian destinations set it apart from most Kathmandu consultancies. Japan and South Korea require language study before enrolment and have their own visa documentation, so handling them regularly calls for different expertise from an Australia or Canada application.
