Global School of Science (GSS) is a private higher secondary school in Mid-Baneshwor, Kathmandu, that teaches nothing but +2 Science. Its tagline is "an exclusive center of +2 Science". It teaches Grades 11 and 12 under Nepal's National Examinations Board (NEB) and follows the national curriculum while adding what it calls global perspectives.
History and background
GSS was established in 2019 and works under the umbrella of Global College of Management (GCM), its sister institution in Mid-Baneshwor. GCM describes itself as a centre for +2 Management with more than two decades of teaching behind it, and says it has over 15,000 graduates.
The Global group also runs Global College International, Liberty College and Valley View School. The school's site gives the group company as Professional Educators Limited, while GCM's site names Professional Holdings Ltd. as its owner. Edusanjal lists Amba Datt Joshi as principal of GSS.
Edusanjal reports 1,506 students in the 2081/82 BS academic year.
